Audition Notice

The Best of Broadway - April 10 & 11, 2027

Erie Philharmonic is announcing auditions for vocal roles in the cast of Erie Phil’s Broadway Pops performances on April 10 and 11, 2027.

Interested candidates are encouraged to audition by submitting a recording of their performance of two songs of their choosing, that best demonstrate their vocal abilities in a Broadway/Pops/Americana style.

To apply:

  • Candidates must be 18 years old by August 1st, 2026.

  • Candidates must submit an audio + video recording by Monday June 15th, 2026 (There will be no live-audition. Audio-only recordings will not be accepted).

  • Recordings must be submitted via email to chris@eriephil.org (File attached directly to the email is preferred if possible. Drop box link is also acceptable if needed).

  • Recordings must include:

    • Solo + accompaniment (No duets or trios. Candidate must provide and pay for their own accompanist. Erie Phil can provide recommendations upon request)‍ ‍

    • Two pieces of contrasting style ‍ ‍

    • 64 bars per piece only

  • Candidates must also include a PDF of the piano vocal score for their songs as part of the recording submission.

The Erie Philharmonic welcomes performers of all backgrounds and experiences to audition and encourages candidates from historically underrepresented communities, including ALAANA artists, to apply.

Applications will not be considered ‘complete’ unless all requirements above are met.
Candidates will be notified when their application is complete. Incomplete applications will not be considered in the audition process.
