Our Musicians
The Erie Jr. Philharmonic is comprised of young musicians in grades five through twelve from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York. These students represent 30 schools in the metropolitan area and surrounding counties.
Our History
The Erie Jr. Philharmonic has been an orchestra for young people since 1953, and is the third oldest youth orchestra in the United States. Graduates are now playing in orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, the Columbus Symphony, the Erie Philharmonic, and many other orchestras across the country.
