Mozart
- Symphony No. 41 “Jupiter”
In January, award-winning modern dance troupe Attack Theatre will join the Philharmonic in a scintillating new production of Stravinsky’s fable about a man who sells his soul to the devil - The Soldier’s Tale. We will complement this path-breaking score with that of another genius: Mozart’s ”Jupiter” Symphony. With his final symphonic essay, Mozart produced a work that is as melodious as it is expertly-crafted. It is imbued with a spirit and a zest for life that to this very day continues to win-over hearts and minds.
Join us for an AFTER CONCERT RECEPTION at Dafmark Dance Theatre, 1033 State Street. Meet the dancers, musicians and the Maestro. $15/person includes beer, wine and hors’ doeuvres. Call 455-1375 to make a reservation.
